This humbucker boasts a full body and clear top end that dynamic players are sure to enjoy. Digging in reveals a chunky low-end breakup that sounds great through a tube amp. The secret is a narrow bobbin aperture that keeps bass notes tight and punchy, along with specially spaced pole screws for clean note separation from string to string. Compared to a TV Classic, the Power'Tron is darker and somewhat gnarlier, with more windings — as much as a PAF humbucker — for hotter output.
