Ibanez introduced the RG8EX in 2024, an eight-string powerhouse within the RG series, expertly crafted in Indonesia. The RG8EX features a meranti body bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and walnut 27" scale neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez IBZ-8 humbucking pickups, a F108 fixed bridge and black hardware.
