Orange basically shoehorned the sound of Slipknot axeman Jim Root's Rockerverb 100 amp lead channel into a lunchbox-sized, all-tube package. This diminutive 15-watt amp is a beast, with capabilities far beyond high-gain rock and metal. With powerful 3-band EQ, you'll have an easy time sculpting your signature sound, whether you're playing vintage rock, blues, or fusion. You also get a tube-driven FX loop so you can steer your tone in any direction you desire. And a 7-watt switch makes the Orange Jim Root Terror head even more versatile.

Plenty powerful for small gigs, the Tiny Terror also adapts well to studio and rehearsal use, as you can drop the wattage down to seven watts for lower-volume saturation.

An all-tube, 15-watt portable guitar head, the Orange Jim Root Terror features a unique two stage preamp which offers huge tonal range using the gain and volume pots. Add in the tone-shaping capabilities of the onboard bass, middle, and treble controls, and you've got massive versatility. When driven, this little amp has scary amounts of gain, putting many higher-priced boutique amps to shame.

The Orange Jim Root Terror has been built to the same rugged specification as its bigger Orange siblings; its portability makes it perfect for gigging around town or rehearsing. Because Orange developed the head and cabinet side-by-side in order to replicate the target tone: that of Jim's Rockerverb 100 amp lead channel. Two 12" speakers in a closed-back design gives you tight bottom and plenty of punch

The #4 Jim Root PPC212 cab sports a closed-back design incorporating a pair of Orange special-design 12" speakers. If you want to move some air onstage, then the closed-back cabinet is the gold standard. For full, punchy tone, with tight low end - Jim Root's signature sound - the PPC212 cabinet (mated to the Jim Root Terror head) is the way to go.
