Unveiled in June 2024, the TQM2 is the latest addition to Ibanez’s prestigious AZ series, crafted in Japan by Fujigen as the signature model for English fusion virtuoso Tom Quayle. Designed for tone and precision, it features a stunning 4mm flamed maple top on an alder body, paired with an S-Tech roasted maple neck shaped to an oval C profile and topped with a rosewood fingerboard hosting 22 stainless steel frets, abalone dot markers, and luminescent side dots. The TQM2’s powerhouse pickups, direct-mounted for maximum resonance, include a bridge humbucker and single-coils in the neck and middle. High-end hardware rounds out the design with a Gotoh T1702B tremolo bridge with titanium saddles, an oil-impregnated bone nut, an angled output jack, and Gotoh locking tuners with adjustable posts.
