Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups deliver warm, rich tone

Early semi-hollowbody electric guitars had a wonderfully expressive tone that came with serious hum issues. That's why Ibanez and other guitar makers quickly developed humbuckers, such as the Super 58 Custom pickups. These humbuckers preserve your AS200 semi-hollowbody guitar's warmth and punch, but ditch the 60Hz hum. What's more, the Super 58 humbucker gives the AS200 a slight edge that's perfect for bluesy licks. The neck-pickup is controlled by a Tri-Sound switch that lets you choose between series, parallel, or just the outer coil, adding zesty single-coil spank to your tone arsenal.

Fast and smooth neck, with Prestige fret-edge treatment

Ibanez selected one of their smoothest and most comfortable necks for the Artstar AS200 semi-hollowbody guitar. Not only will your hand love the comfortable carve of this mahogany neck, but your fingers will appreciate the beautifully bound ebony fingerboard. For even smoother playability, the AS200 has received Ibanez's Prestige fret-end treatment. This essentially rounds off the edges of the frets, making the AS200's fretboard feel even more fluid.
