The Legacy Series represents the design and innovation experience of Robert Gallien and Richard Krueger since 1968, with founder Bob Gallien still at the helm of the company, working daily in the lab as he did in the beginning to create the best-sounding, most versatile and reliable professional bass amps. The Gallien-Krueger Legancy Series is based on the design of the 800RB introduced in 1980 and also shares the same DNA and level of innovation, but trumps with a more advanced feature set and design concept.
 
The original 800RB already impressed back then with its characteristic hum, clarity, performance and features that were ahead of its time. The new Gallien-Krueger Legancy Series captures the same aesthetics while adding something very special. From clean, clear, snappy tones to rich overdrive sounds, Legacy bass amps offer everything to make your heart leap for joy.
 
All the right connections
On the Legacy 1200's rear-panel Patch Bay, use the effects loop send and return to connect your favorite compressor or other outboard gear. Landed an arena gig? Use the balanced DI output to send a post-EQ signal to the PA. In the studio, switch the DI to pre-EQ and connect directly to the recording console. From coffeehouse gigs to stadiums, the Gallien-Krueger Legacy 1200 has you covered with flexible Load capacity cabinet impedance switching that delivers optimum power into 2.7, 4, and 8-ohm loads. Practicing quietly at home? The GK Legacy 1200 also features Aux input and Headphone jacks.
 
Gig-ready and tour-tough
To improve performance and reliability, GK's Legacy Series uses an innovative interconnection system that eliminates issues which can develop over time due to the frequent vibration and temperature extremes that gear is subjected to with demanding professional use. Legacy Series circuit boards use gold-plated connections instead of standard cables with tin connectors. This type of robust construction delivers a purer sound in addition to the enhanced reliability to withstand years of heavy touring.

- Gallien-Krueger Neo 115 III Bass Speaker Cabinet

The Gallien-Krueger Neo 115-III is a bass cab built to deliver silky-smooth, solid tone—and now it's even more portable with a reduced weight of 40 pounds and smaller dimensions. This compact, roadworthy front-ported cabinet is loaded with a custom-designed, cast-frame 15" neodymium speaker. Neodymium speakers are lighter than traditional speakers, but deliver the same robust performance. Tuned for a consistent response from top to bottom, there is plenty of definition in the highs and mids, coupled with a fat low-end. The bass cabinet also features GK's bi-amp system; Speakon-style and 1/4" connectors; 300W power handling; rugged poplar construction; Tolex covering; reinforced, interlocking corners; 16-gauge steel grille; and removable casters.
