Think classic Brit Blues players of the late sixties. The HV58 has the sound down to a tee. The development of this legendary pickup took many hours, and a bin-ful of rejected windings. To get it just right, Alan went on sound over specification, listening for hours to those incredible players on those incredible albums. Fully Beano certified!

Alnico V magnets, enamel coated winding wire, scatter-wound coils, and hard nickel pole pieces. These humbucker pickups are wax potted, but unlike modern pickup designs they are not vacuum processed as this reduces the natural gaps in the windings, which is partly responsible for the vintage flavour and response.
